Una domanda che mi viene e prendetela da profano quale sono:
Ho provato ad installare da aur anche razor-qt dopo una formattazione e verso il 10% della compilazione mi da lo stesso errore di photivo.

Può centrare il fatto che abbia la /home separata su un'altra partizione e che abbia utilizzato gli uuid per i dischi invece dei label per fstab?
Inoltre il "secondo arch" (sda3) non ha grub; utilizzo quello di arch1 (sda1) con i label...

Ancora... ma penso di no... può essere colpa dei driver nvidia?

no perchè ho instalalto anche io razor-qt e ho la home separata con uuid in fstab

Si provato anche a reinstallare.
Mi sono accorto ieri di una cosa però. Con memtest se testo il banco ram sul primo e terzo slot mi viene letta ad 800Hrz, ma se la provo sul secondo e quarto passa a 400Hrz. Errori però non ne rileva.
Non credo comunque che sia normale.
Credo che tutti i problemi con photivo e razor-qt et altri siano dovuti a rogne hardware. Mi spiego così anche i vari freez e crash con Opera e flash.
Mi sa che il pc mi sta abbandonando.
Ancora qualche tentativo per capire cosa succede e caso mai chiudo il 3d con questa spiegazione.

lo vedi subito scollega le due memorie che rileva a 400hz e prova ad avviare il sistema, aggiornandolo e prova a compilare, reinstalla magari anche tutto il gruppo base-devel

Ho ricontrollato le memorie e non ho problemi con memtest, ma lo stesso non compila.
La scheda video con il compilatore non c'èntra vero? Non è che con opengl vada a usarla in qualche modo?

ma al massimo prova in modalità testuale a compilare.. inoltre non vedo perchè devi dare pacman -Rs base-devel , al massimo reinstalla il gruppo dei pacchetti.

Sono ancora alle prese con questa lotta.

I problemi di prima sembrano superati, nel senso che ho cambiato scheda madre e ora il pc non mi da più i problemi di prima.
E' che non riesco a venir fuori da questa compilazione.

stavolta non è solo un problema tuo ho riprovato a compilare e anche a me da lo stesso errore, potrebbe essere stato l'aggiornamento delle Qt di qualche giorno fa?

Questa e' una buona notizia... Poter me intendo...
Se abbiamo lo stesso errore e' molto probabilmente dovuto agli ultimi aggiornamenti.
Proverò ad aspettare e vedere su Aur se viene fuori qualcosa.

a me serve come dipendenza per installare kolor-manager-git che dovrebbe servirmi a caricare i profili di colore dei monitor

Non ho ancora riprovato con photivo dopo gli ultimi aggiornamenti.
Comunque se può servirti ho visto che DispcalGui, frontend di argyll gestisce ottimamente i profili, oltre a calibrare il monitor con i vari colorimetri. Ma mi sembra che per questo tu non ne abbia bisogno.
