consiglio:
un buon audio-player per KDE (nativo QT) come alternativa a quel mattone di Amarok?
per gnome/GTK se ne trovano a dozzine ma per KDE ho difficoltà a trovare qualcosa

lo avevo provato il mese scorso e avevo la voce da scegliere. però non mi funzionava più con i nuoveau, mentre nella versione beta di kde funzionavano. dovrei ricontrollare ora che sono stati aggiornati i driver

ma KWin con OpenGL ES funziona solo con driver nuoveau?
lo chiedo perchè io uso i driver nvidia proprietari....

ho eseguito alla lettera ma qualcosa non torna...
il file ~/.kde4/share/config/gtkrc-2.0 lo imposto come da wiki ma ad ogni avvio di kde torna ad essere come segue:

Può essere altrimenti che l'icona di default venga messa tra quelle non sempre visibili.

A me succede che se faccio ESCI - SPEGNI, invece di fare uno shutdown va alla schermata di login. Da qui se faccio SPEGNI funziona ma direttamente no. Neanche azzerando la cartella .kde4 ho risolto.
A voi risulta?

Io ho un problema: ogni avvio mi segna un errore di kdeinit4.
Posto se volete il backtrace, però non ci capisco nulla.

ho notato un problema con okular, non sò se è solo un mio problema, o un problema generale. praticamente quando cerco di aprire un file pdf dove c'è un'immagine, okular và in crash.. ad esempio và in crash con questo file pdf. il problema esiste anche "scrollando" ad un pagina con un'immagine.

non me no dà su tutti i file, ma ho notato che me lo dà su arch 32 bit mentre su chakra o kubuntu 64 bit non mi dà nessun errore... non è una cosa grave, al limite uso xpdf o pdfviewer

Impossibile trovare KTextEditor::Factory, controlla la tua installazione.
Assicurati che Kate sia installto, KDEDIRS sia impostato correttamente e di aver eseguito kbuildsycoca4.

prova a reinstallare kde, in secondo luogo prova ad azzerare le impostazioni faceno un backup della cartella .kde4 e come ultima soluzione, prova a creare un nuovo utente. a me se lancio kate da terminale mi da questo

perche' li faccio io i pacchetti xD

Prima katepart faceva parte del pacchetto di kwrite, ora l'ho splittato cosi' kate/kdevelop e compagnia non necessitano kwrite, ma direttamente katepart.

carlez non e' il primo utente al quale accade questa cosa, ma le dipendenze sono ok, quindi credo che la colpa sia nel modo in cui hanno aggiornato il sistema (eg. -Sddyu)
