è tutto il giorno che mi succedono dei crash, e devo addirittura riavviare di brutto.
questo mi succede durante la digitazione di messaggi sui vari forum.
mi spiego digito un messaggio poi do invio per andare a capo ed il sistema si blocca, non funziona più niente.

bò.. forse .nel senso che non mi pare di vedere errori al fondo, prova a controllare le ultime righe di errors.log o di everything.log per vedere se vedi qualche errore

vedo degli errori riguardanti i moduli pulse,è possibile che avendo abilitato sia pulse sia alsa in DAEMONS mi vadano in conflitto?
ma poi vedo dei warn anche in xorg, mi sai aiutare a capire, mi crasha di continuo.

allora da li vedo errori di pulse audio ma non so se incidano, controlla /var/log/everything.log che dovrebbe essere un sunto che tiene conto di tutto, ovviamente i controlli dovresti farli dopo che si verificano i problemi

mentre per X conviene più usare
cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep '(EE)'

per vedere gli errori, li vedi solo i warning

di sicuro hai problemi con pulse, infatti ti da molti errori e warning, prova a togliere alsa da rc.conf e leggiti la guida che ti ho postato prima, per gdm non so se quegli errori siano importanti o meno

ps. per i ww di xorg non sono sempre errori, molte volte da un warning sul caricamento di un modulo ad esempio ma le righe successive risolvono il ww precedente .. emmm non so se mi sono spiegati, per leggerti bene i warning sarebbe meglio che ti vedi cosa succede subito dopo

mmm mi sembra molto strano..... non saprei che dire, a meno che non ci sia qualche errore nel riconoscimento da tastiera, ma mi sembra molto strano com eproblema.. vorrei sapere se lo accendi e lo lasci li senza far nulla per un pò il sistema regge?

posso fare tutto, masterizzo vedo film ma appena edito qualcosa, (ho paura a scrivere) va in crash, anche su gedit, o terminale

prova a togliere da xorg.conf tutte le parti relative alla tastiera, fai un backup prima, così lascia ad hal il compito di configurare la tastiera e vediamo se cambia qualcosa.

ti dico di più, il crash avviene alla pressione del tasto invio per andare a capo, prima mi si riavviava solo la sessione e mi ritrovavo in fase di loghin (gdm) ora invece crasha. provo la soluzione da te postata e ti faccio sapere. posso anche solo commentare le parti inerenti la tastiera in xorg.conf? penso di si. scusa se non vado a capo. cè un altra cosa, se cerco di andare in console tty1 (per esempio) con ctrl + alt + f1 gdm non si stoppa e non mi fa loggare in tty1 perchè risulta una sessione attiva del server x.

fatto come dicevi, ma niente, non si avia neanche x se tolgo le parti inerenti la tastiera. ho letto in rete di qualcuno con il mio stesso problema ma senza soluzione, se hai novita aggiornami grazie. ho paura a toccare il tasto invio, è quello che impalla tutto, ma non posso andare avanti così :D grazie dell'aiuto!

gforce fx5500 nvidia driver 173xx , ti giuro che è così, io su ubuntu potevo addirittura cancellare xorg (da quando è stato introdotto hal), tanto hal si occupava di tutto. ma è solo se pigio invio che va tutto a "donnacce", finche non pigio invio tutto ok, secondo me è propio un problema di xog o di driver.

sembrerebbe, che non sia un vero e propio crash, ma che siano tastiera e mouse che si disattivano.
ho sovrascritto l'xorg.conf con
Codice: Seleziona tutto
 sudo nvidia-xconfig

e mi sembra che vada meglio, cioè non ho questo tipo di "crash" da 10 minuti.
ma l'xorg generato è identico al vecchio.
ora parto per Milano, appena torno faccio prove , se è a posto metto risolto, e ti aggiorno.

ciao veleno, non sono sul mio pc ma ti dico che prima di uscire di casa ieri ho avuto un nuovo crash, non so propio cosa fare, non posso andare avanti spegnendo il pc dal pulsante ogni 10 minuti.
potrebbe essere colpa di gdm?

ciao guarda ti dico la stessa cosa che ho detto in un altro thread...a me succedeva questo crash e spesso mi ritornava anche indietro a gdm e dovevo rifare il login oppure anche a me a premere invio o mi crashava oppure mi riportava a gdm...tutto questo succedeva quando fcevo partire gnome tenendo gdm tra i moduli in rc.conf ora che sto usando in metodo inittab da qualche giorno non mi capita più né l'una né l'altra cosa...spero possa esserti d'aiuto...ti dico non saprei che spiegazione darmi ma davvero quando lanciavo gnome con gdm tra i demoni mi crashava spesso ora non più...fammi sapere se provi come va...ciao
